Alex led the Virgin brand into Formula 1, concluding a sponsorship with Brawn GP in its championship winning debut season.
2004 - 2008
Chief Operating Officer of Virgin Galactic and Chairman of the Space Flight industry. A complex role interacting between the airline regulator, the administrator and the White House - Virgin Galactic’s HQ is in California.
2005 - 2009
Virgin Group Special Projects - became Director in 2007. Responsible for taking Virgin to the cutting edge through projects such as the Global Balloon challenges, the Global Row and sponsorship of the London Marathon.
